So I finally started shooting again during a Christmas visit with my family. The results we less than inspiring.... it has been necessary to rehabilitate the artistic atrophy I endured while focusing on my career. I shall not entertain anyone with those shots. And while I am feeling somewhat more creative as of late, I will continue to retrain my eye as it were. Unusual March weather has shown us the warmest St. Patrick's Day in memory, and also an early bloom to the Magnolia tree in our yard. And while I am not delivering anything exceptional today, I will hopefully achieve that at some point in the future. It is good to be back.

Hello, to all my friends on dA! It has been a terribly long time, and while I had planned on spending more time on the site and with my photography - my plans were waylaid by opening a new restaurant. It has kept me very busy since the beginning of May. As a chef, one always realizes how much time can be involved starting new endeavors, but that approximation never seems to be accurate...... lol. I would like to thank ^Kaz-D for sponsoring one of my shots for my first DD, which I have only just noticed today! O.K. so it's been way too long a break from dA, my computer is buried under enough dust to qualify for an archeological dig. Although not ready to post new shots quite yet, I thought I would start to get the ball rolling by getting up to date on my messages and journal first.
