Pantheon of The Libertarian by ruabuddha Pantheon of The Libertarian by ruabuddha
The Thomas Jefferson Memorial in Washington DC. Arguably the most free thinker amongst our founding fathers - a President who vowed eternal enmity against all tyranny of the human mind. In an age filled only with election promises and agendas, I would wish for one free thinker with libertarian ideals untarnished by human ambitions - lacking this, I pay homage to the source.

A simple picture, but it speaks volumes. Jefferson did lay a strong foundation, even if he didn't always live up to those principles he set forth.

Quite right, his presidency is frequently cited as having contradicted a great many of his own personal beliefs regarding the limitation of executive power, ironically enough.

I just wanted to swing by again to tell you how awesome this picture is. It captures so much of what we have lost.

Are our founding principles doomed to remain in mythology? Let's hope not.

Very nice picture of the monument to one of my personal heroes. We need more men and women like Jefferson.
